Developer

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Developer to join its engineering team in Bengaluru or Mumbai on a full-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on designing and owning end-to-end generative AI architectures using AWS services such as Python Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and Step Functions. The successful candidate will lead model selection, tuning, and optimization, including embedding models, RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, and model-drift strategies, while defining reference architectures and reusable AI frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and integrating applications with LLMs, image and video models, embeddings, vector databases, and inference endpoints. The developer will create RAG, multi-modal, and agentic workflows, develop fine-tuning pipelines, and establish prompt engineering guidelines, evaluation frameworks, and model guardrails such as PII filtering and hallucination prevention. Additional duties involve designing serverless applications using AWS Lambda with Python, optimizing existing Lambda functions for cost and performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Candidates should bring at least eight years of software development experience with a strong focus on AWS services and proficiency in Python. Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications, experience with DynamoDB, API Gateway, and S3, knowledge of infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform, and a proven track record of delivering production-grade GenAI products.
