Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Mydatainputjob collects, why we collect it, and how you can ask us to remove it. It applies to the website and to the mobile app when it launches.

Information you give us

• Account details: your name, email address and password when you create an account. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes; we cannot read them.
• Optional details: a phone number, preferred category or city, and your marketing preference.
• Email subscriptions: the email address you use for job alerts, the newsletter, or the app launch list.
• Messages: the contents of a removal request or support email.

Information collected automatically

We record basic technical information such as the page you visited, the referring page, your browser type and a hashed form of your IP address. The hash is used to detect abusive clicking and cannot be reversed into your IP address by us. We do not store precise location data.

Cookies and advertising

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cookie choice. Advertising on this site is served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can review or change your ad personalisation settings at myadcenter.google.com. Where required, we ask for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set.

How long we keep data

Account data is kept while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your profile immediately and permanently erase the remaining record after 30 days, unless we are required to keep it for a legal or accounting reason. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Click logs are aggregated and deleted after 180 days.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, pause job alerts, unsubscribe from any email, or delete your account from the dashboard. You can also write to grievance@mydatainputjob.com to request a copy of your data or ask for a correction.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share the minimum necessary information with service providers that host the site, send email and serve advertising. These providers process data on our instructions. We may disclose information if required by law.
